I have known Nancy for four years and highly recommend her services. My son got the privilege to have her as his counselor, for three out of the four years he was in high school, and we really miss the fourth! She is patient and kind and will find just the right programs that will work for you and your child.

My Background
I am a NH Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master’s degree in social work (MSW) in 1988
at Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, MA. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education from Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, MA. My MSW training prepared me to work with individuals, families and groups in therapy as well as advocacy. I follow the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics. After earning my Masters Degree, I worked in a community mental health office for 12 years with adults, adolescents, children and groups. The following 13 years I worked as a therapist in a public high school. I have completed levels 1 & 2 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) training, am a certified EMDRIA therapist and currently an EMDR Consultant-In-Training. I receive consultation from 2 EMDR approved consultants. For more information on this well-researched approach to treating traumas go to www.emdr.com. To learn more about EMDR therapy watch this short video. https://youtu.be/Pkfln-ZtWeY Most recently I have successfully completed training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Continuing education is a requirement for LICSWs. Specific fields of interest and study include EMDR therapy, strength-based work, adolescents and women.
